 | Midland, Ontario, Canada – Aeronautical engineer Chris Heintz founded Zenair Ltd. in
1974 to manufacture aircraft kits and components for recreational ("amateur") aircraft builders. More than 35 years later, Zenair Ltd. is still developing, supporting and manufacturing Heintz' popular kitplane designs.
A pioneer in the light aircraft kit industry, Chris designed more than 20 aircraft models over the years, all for sport aviation enthusiasts. In 1992, Zenith Aircraft Company (ZAC) was founded as a separate and independent company in Mexico, Missouri, USA to manufacture and market Heintz (CH) aircraft designs for the American market. Today, Zenair Ltd. has a full inventory of CH750, CH650, CH640, CH801 and Float kits and parts. You too can pick up your kit at Zenair's facilities at the Huronia Airport (Midland, Ontario) and save on crating and shipping. |
