Introductory Rudder Workshops in Canada:
If you've always dreamed of building your own airplane, or simply want to know more about all-metal aircraft construction, these workshop are a great opportunity to learn about assembling a kit - while actually starting to build your own airplane. Small group sizes make our workshops productive and educational; you are welcome to bring one helper (spouse, son, daughter, parent...) to even further enhance the experience.
Come and experience first-hand how you can build your own kit airplane!
You don't need any experience, skills or tools to attend!

NEW!
| CUSTOM WING-BUILDING PROGRAM:
|
This new factory program is designed for kit-builders who want to give their project a start-up boost. With this program, one wing can usually be completely assembled (making assembly of the second wing at home a breeze)! Program lasts five days (a working week) and can be scheduled anytime during regular operating hours. Participants may time their program to coincide with the pick-up of their airframe kit.
Richard (right) operates a remote hunting lodge in Quebec where his closest neighbors are a mere 50 miles away...
Not surprisingly, he decided to build a STOL CH 801 on floats to operate around his lodge ! Richard scheduled a wing-building program and brought his friend Curtis; together they assembled the first wing of the aircraft (including fuel system) in 4 days. The fun has started; they plan to fly next spring! |
Both Richard and Curtis found the experience informative and rewarding: "Spending time with the shop guys gave us the opportunity to learn lots about the company as well as the aircraft," said Richard who typically spends most of his time fishing or hunting in the Canadian bush...
Cost of 5-day program: Participation fee of $350.00 + HST (plus price of the kit).

AIRCRAFT COMPLETION PROGRAMS:
Zenair understands that some aircraft owners would rather spend their time flying than assembling and/or finishing their aircraft from a standard airframe kit. As a first step to help meet such customer's needs, Zenair has developed "advanced" kits, "custom" kits, and even "green-planes" - all manufactured in Midland, Ontario.
Starting with one of these advanced kits - and as an additional step - owners can then work with experienced "builder-assistance" providers and/or full-time qualified builders to finish the Zenair design of their choice.
Zenair regularly works with independent contractors who provide builder-assistance and aircraft-completion services; some of these contractors can also help with float assemblies, rigging, etc. If you are looking for help to speed-up, simplify or even complete your Zenair design professionally, please contact Michael at Zenair to discuss your needs.
